The Second Cinetographic Event
International Short Film Festival
This year during September and October, the Café El Sur would like to invite all young film directors to join in the second “EL SUR Cinematographic Event”.
This unique event will provide an opportunity for young creative minds to come together and present their work in
an open environment. This gathering will also provide a forum for sharing knowledge, ideas and feedback from other aspiring young film directors.
Our focus is to provide a public screening for new films focusing on the creativity process as well as the final result. We hope to provide a source of inspiration to those that the world of cinema impassions.
Creativity will be the main focus of our meeting.
New Dates
For reasons of force majeure and the interests of ensuring a smooth running of the festival the organizing committee of the Second Cinematographic Event EL SUR has decided to postpone the dates of the projections of the Festival in September and October 2009. Similarly, a new deadline for registration and reception of film is set for the 1st August 2009.
The information on the planning and selection of films for the competition will be mailed to the participants and may be accessed on the website of the festival.

THE COMPETITION
The organizing committee of the festival will select
the movies that will be part of the competition in
compliance with the rules concerning first works and
